We added a new member to the family this week. She's a mutt of sorts (our guess is some sort of Vizsla/Lab mix) that we rescued from the horrible, HORRIBLE shelter. We changed her name from Trixie (boring!) to Lucille (cute!). She loves Rob as you can see.
This isn't a very clear picture, but she looks so cute and sweet.
The shelter guessed that she's somewhere between 1-2 years. She's still a little excitable but, on the whole, she is very mild tempered and sweet. And the kids are CRAZY about her.
So are we.

i would have much rathered see pictures of laughing smiling babies playing with a puppy then a grumpy faced rob ;). and in the shelters defense, i'm sure they are doing the best they can with over crowding and limited resources.
p.s. she is absoulutely adorable! and i love her name. who picked?
Oooh. She has the sweetest eyes. And I'm not even an animal person. Congrats on the newest member of your family! And I'm so glad she was rescued by YOU.
What a cute dog. I'm a huge fan of getting animals from shelters (especially bad ones). How fun for your kiddies. I know Hannah would love to have one but I think we'll wait until we have a real backyard.
