Undoubtedly, the best part of living in West Texas is the fantastic spring weather. The landscape's not much to look at, but you can't beat jumping on the tramp in the sprinkler or filling the swimming pool in March (sometimes as early as February.)

These pics are a few weeks old now of course. Look how tiny and furry he used to be.
Poor little guy looked like Benjamin Button with that wrinkled forehead and no baby fat. He's nice and round these days. I'll upload some recent pictures shortly.

Ok, I'm all for positive comments on your blog and blah, blah, blah, but I have two problems with your post (I am aware that I have already breached blog comment etiquette).
1. Ummmm...your favorite part of West Texas is the WEATHER?? WHAT?? What about the Swappy Joes and Dave the Top Wop and me calling you like 80 times a day and always forcing you to make the bread and watch my kids and stuff?? Ok...that sounds lame. But, it's cooler in real life. You know that.
2. Spencer is nice and round now? Maybe his cheeks are, but he still has those cute, bite-able little skinny newborn chicken legs. They're awesome. I love them. I think they need their day of glory.
And PS--Those pics of him sleeping are SUPER cute!
this will seem like a bizarre comment, but consider it's submitter: look closely at the picture of Spencer with the shadow extending onto the bed, you can see the eyebrow, nose and bearded face profile of a little old man.....pretty cool all coming from a brand spanking new little Spencer. Can't wait to see you all in a couple weeks. Love Dad
